Since 1935, CKF has produced and sold pie plates, cake circles and picnic plates. Early products were rough in texture and marketed under the brand names of Chinet and Paprus. Advances in machinery improved the production process and the high quality Royal Chinet brand was launched in 1969. This new product line was manufactured from premium quality hardwood pulp and intense electric heat to deliver the hard and smooth finish that we know today.
