Backyard BBQ trend led to improvements in Chinet picnic plates. CKF became the leading manufacturer of moulded pulp products in the Canadian market
1964
160 acres of land donated by the Jodrey Family to Nova Scotia to establish Blomidon Provincial Park

John Jodrey appointed as President

Launch of the Royal Chinet line of top quality moulded pulp tableware
New machinery installed to deliver harder & smoother finish

New magazine advertising launched and wins awards from Marketing Magazine, the One Show and the Advertising & Design Club of Canada.
2002
Cape Split on the Blomidon peninsula (700 acres) sold by the Jodrey family to the Nova Scotian government to ensure that it remains as parkland for future generations.
2005
Launch of NEW Celebrations rim design

Royal Chinet logo updated with a red Maple Leaf to celebrate the brand's Canadian roots.
